We're still here!

Hello all!

Sorry for the lack of words coming from us, but life ya know. It comes up and grabs you like a dog with a toy. We've been crazy busy, but I'm (D) here now for a bit. So, what do you want to hear me talk about? What's been going on? Okay!

N and I just celebrated our first anniversary as a lesbian couple! Wow, I never thought I would ever use those words pertaining to me. But I am. And we had a great one. We went to the "scene of the crime", so to speak. The place where she kissed me and everything in my entire life started making sense! At that moment, my soul sighed and said, "there you are!" to it's other half.

So, we went back to the spot and revisited that moment. And it still puts goosebumps all over my body. Then we had a nice dinner. It wasn't all the frills and expense that I had in my straight marriage, but it was SOOOO much better. We didn't need to try to prove our love to each other, or to outdo the other with gifts or gestures. We are our own gift and wow, that's just so amazing! I really can not wait to marry this woman and be together for this life and everything that comes after it.
